I understand that cold water immersion, breathwork, and sauna use carry real risks, including cold shock, hypothermia, fainting, irregular heartbeat, drowning, injury on rocks or sand, and in rare cases death.
I confirm that I am participating voluntarily, that I am responsible for my own decisions in and out of the water, and that I will never enter the water alone or beyond my ability.
I confirm I have considered my own health, including heart conditions, pregnancy, epilepsy, asthma, and any medication I take, and that I have consulted a physician if there is any doubt.
I understand Morro Bay Odder Club is a volunteer community, not a guided or supervised service. No lifeguard, coach, or medical professional is provided. Breathwork is never done in the water.
I release Morro Bay Odder Club, its officers, volunteers, and fellow participants from liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation, to the fullest extent permitted by California law.
